by: Bill Nash continued from page 1 What a difference a day makes...no longer is there a long list of victims listed on the home page of poolrestoration.com. Now, the character and corporate assassination is directed to me alone. Looking at the "new" home page (on the left), I see that Mr. Bankoff has chosen, among other things, The Better Business Bureau. Let's take a closer look at Mr. Bankoff's relationship with the BBB, to which he claims membership. The following is an excerpt from "My Personal Experiences with Fiberglass Failures" (on the left). ..."In five or six short years I had so many failures that I had to go out of business. I did not go bankrupt. I used my personal funds to fix these pools and give refunds to others. By doing this I kept my good name with the Better Business Bureau, and my previous customers. Court records show I have no lawsuits or judgments against me or any of my companies...." (red coloring added). Everything in the above paragraph is utter fantasy and prevarication. To begin with Mr. Bankoff and his company, Monolithic Structures, were expelled from the Better Business Bureau in 1993. I have a copy of a letter on the BBB letterhead addressed to a Doctor (whose name I will not disclose in this forum) who resides in Bensalem, PA stating that Mr. Bankoff, his former partner (name withheld by me), and his company are being expelled.
