Concrete and Block Pools

              Very popular pool construction during the 1950's and 1960's. These pools were built to last well into the 21st Century. But like all pools, a certain amount of care was mandatory.

Until the advent of fiberglass resurfacing during the 1980's, there was little that could be done except constant replacement of the marcite (plaster), on the order of once every three years.

Because of the constant resurfacing cost combined with the cost of water replacement, many of these pools fell into disrepair. Prior to the internet, there was no solution to this never-ending problem.
